Our Mission

WJOBFM is a non commercial educational radio station built and supported by the Broome County Urban League in partnership with On Point Productions.

The Broome County Urban League (BCUL) is a non-profit organization that provides Broome County with a variety of social services; including job placement programs like the BBAPI WJOB Internship. On Point Productions is a full featured multimedia facility that supplies the technical expertise, background, resources, equipment, infrastructure and management for radio station operations.

Partnering with On Point productions allowed BCUL access to a consortium of other corporations that work in tandem with the facility. Within the walls of On Point Productions there is a full service record label. Playground Records, LLC, a company with digital distribution, and a nonprofit 501C3 youth based initiative called All Ears, Corp.
